) has dedicated to precious extra-virgin olive oil production since the middle of nineteenth century. This is a little character of Puglia foodfarming scene, in a region that cultivates olive tree from time immemorial. The farm is well-situated, among the hills, between Murgia and the seaside.
Nicola Monterisi has successfully managed and taken care of the farm since 1992, devoting himself to the continuation of familiar tradition and passion for extra-virgin olive oil.
He’s been an experienced agronomist and oil taster and chooser since 1996.
In 2004 he expanded his competence by getting a Master’s degree in olive growing and olive oil technology. So he increased the value of his own oil production through the use of advanced machinery and mining methods.
Nicola Monterisi’s farm produces sterling extra-virgin olive oil, in order to satisfy the refined taste of gourmet and consumers, which can recognize the value of genuiness ad excellence. The mission of the farm is to prefer quality to quantity, by making an extra-virgin olive oil that will meet the higher expectations.
